Golden summer light settled over Spring Valley Reservoir in Troy, Idaho as the evening slowly faded into blue hour.
The water was still, the air warm, and everything about the evening felt calm in the kind of way summer nights in the Palouse often do. These two spent the evening laughing, wandering the shoreline, and simply being together in a way that felt effortless and real.
One of the things I value most during sessions is creating space for genuine connection rather than overly posed moments. I lightly guide couples when needed, but more than anything, I encourage movement, conversation, laughter, and the quiet in between moments that allow love to naturally show through. The result is imagery that feels honest, emotional, and true to who they are together. I am so honored to be apart of this chapter and Photographing their wedding in April.
